Sustainability consulting that fits your business

CONSULTING

I work with organisations of every size - from global corporates to national governments to ambitious SMEs - on the sustainability and human rights challenges that matter most to their business: legislation, strategy, supply chains, human rights due diligence, training, and reporting.

Sixteen years in, I've led sustainability and human rights work for organisations including The Coca-Cola Company, Yum Brands, ME+EM, Lucy and Yak, Unispace, Mitre 10, Bisley, Indelible Bouquet, Green Button, and the UK and Australian Governments, and founded and scaled a 7-figure consulting practice inside a world-renowned responsible sourcing organisation. I bring that technical depth and hands-on delivery experience to every engagement, working alongside your team as a trusted advisor rather than an outside voice.

Where I help

  • Legislation & compliance — cutting through international sustainability and human rights legislation to tell you exactly what it means for your business and what to do next.

  • Strategy — turning your goals, risks and opportunities into a sustainability strategy your leadership team will actually use.

  • Sustainable supply chains — building sustainability into your procurement and supply chain from the ground up, or helping you meet the sustainability requirements your own customers are asking of you.

  • Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) — design, delivery, assurance and ongoing engagement across every stage of your HRDD programme.

  • Training & capacity building — from modern slavery awareness for buying teams to securing C-suite buy-in for your next sustainability programme.

  • Reporting & communication — mandatory statements, reports, and internal/external communications, backed by real data and stakeholder insight.

The Sustainability Health Check (for SMEs)

Not every business needs a full sustainability strategy on day one, but every business benefits from knowing exactly where it stands. The Sustainability Health Check is my structured diagnostic for SMEs who want a clear, jargon-free picture of their sustainability risks, opportunities and customer alignment, without committing to a large programme before they're ready. It's built for founders and leadership teams who know sustainability matters to their customers, investors and supply chain, but don't have the in-house expertise - or the time - to work out where to start.

What it gives you:

  • An honest assessment of where your business currently stands on sustainability and human rights

  • Clarity on the risks and legal requirements most relevant to your size and sector

  • A gap assessment between your customers' requirements (codes of conduct, supplier policies) and your current activities

  • A prioritised, practical set of next steps — so you know exactly what to do, and in what order

  • The option to bring me in for ongoing support once you're ready to act.

Fractional Sustainability Support

For businesses who need more than a one-off project but aren't ready for a full-time hire, I also offer fractional support: an embedded day-a-week (or similar cadence) sustainability resource, working as part of your team on an ongoing retainer basis.

Office Hours

Sometimes you don't need a project - you need thirty minutes with someone who already knows the answer. Office Hours is a single paid call for exactly that: a brand weighing up which ESG SCRM platform to choose, an office manager tasked with making a human rights policy, a founder sense-checking a supply chain decision, a team that wants an outside view before they commit. No proposal, no onboarding - just book a slot and bring your question.
